Velia Sierra Design aims on the Mexican southeast for its sixth boutique within the new luxury development Xalet Xateau Tulum
The original house of linen since 1982 opened its doors on November 28th within the new complex Xalet Xateau Tulum, located on Avenida Cobá, a few minutes away from the hotel zone.
With this store, we have consolidated six brand exclusive boutiques in Mexico, having already a showroom in Guadalajara, three stores in San Miguel de Allende (with one of them celebrating its 30th anniversary this year), and a store in Punta de Mita. Tulum represents an important touristic spot for Velia Sierra Design, being the source of inspiration for many of our collections, and a key destination visited annually by travelers from all continents.
Velia Sierra Design Tulum currently has our entire women's and men's lines, as well as our Accesories and Lifestyle collections, all made in the pre-washed organic linen that has characterized us for the past 40 years. It will also soon have lines of artisan jewelry made by Mexican designers, which can only be found at our store within the Tulum-Playa del Carmen-Cancún area, including Kuu from Guadalajara (already present at our Punta de Mita store) and Heart Honey Pau from San Miguel de Allende.
Xalet Xateau Tulum is a new luxury project, located in the heart of Tulum, which will feature a Swim-Up pool, as well as natural and artificial cenotes for exclusive use of residents. Its mixed concept of housing and hotel makes it unique in its category, boasting 180 condos and a 5-star boutique hotel by Marriott Bonvoy Group (Tribute Portfolio) with 100 rooms. Additionally, Xalet Xateau Tulum will offer amenities such as commercial area with national and international brands, Yoga Center, Zen Garden, restaurants, rooftops, a Beer Bar experience where artisanal beers can be crafted by visitors, and Beach Club access, among others. It's worth noting that the development obtained the Luxury Lifestyle Award on 2021, as the best sustainable luxury residential project in Mexico.
